Congressman Hinojosa votes with Nancy Pelosi
and President Obama again
After leading many people to believe that he was actually looking for
constituent input on the Waxman-Markey Energy Tax bill, Ruben Hinojosa
voted as we anticipated he would. He voted with Pelosi. His rhetoric is a
sham.
Hinojosa is like so many other self-interested pols. He is all about
staying in Washington and grabbing more power (your tax money) so
that he can then redirect that money into welfare and subsidies for
people he can enslave (with benefits paid for by you) and thereby
guarantee his reelection. Odds are he won't change. So for now, we must
resign ourselves to whatever Nancy Pelosi wants, Nancy gets. Hinojosa
isn't strong enough to say NO to her.
He has never won in DeWitt County. The votes to keep him in office
come from the Valley precincts. What we want to know is: Will he hang
around as long as Kika DeLaGarza did? Will the poor EVER see through
the rhetoric? Will DeWitt County ever get out of CD 15 (his district)? We
better pray Republicans keep the Legislature in 2010 in order to thwart
ACORN's attempt to rig the census data before the next redistricting.
