I am the experienced candidate and I would like to serve the citizens of DeWitt County as your next County Clerk. I
would appreciate your vote in the upcoming election.
Personal Information:
- lifelong resident of DeWitt County
- daughter of Victor and Nelda Boehl of Westhoff
- two children, Megan 22 and Chris 19
- attended Westhoff ISD
- graduated from Cuero High School in 1984
- hired in January 1985 in County Clerk’s Office
- appointed to position of Chief Deputy County Clerk in 2003 until present
- employed part time at Cuero Wellness Center
With my 25 years experience, I have the knowledge, dedication and loyalty needed to conduct the daily duties and
responsibilities of the County Clerk’s Office. Those duties consist of --------------
- administering all county and state elections, including early voting
- serving as clerk of the county courts and the commissioner’s court by
- maintaining the records that pertain to the courts
- recording real and personal property records
- filing and issuing certified copies of vital statistic records (birth and death certificates)
- issuing marriage license
- filing assumed name certificates
- filing of probate records (wills)
- accounting for all fund collected by the office
Seminars and schools:
- attended numerous seminars that have allowed me to be knowledgeable on procedural changes in the judicial
system - trained on the Hart electronic voting equipment
- locally held election schools
- election school held for County Clerk’s and Election Administrators
Pledges:
- I feel that it would be a smooth transition between the present County Clerk and myself in that I have
knowledge of how the office operates. - I will maintain an open mind to changes that may arise concerning the office.
- I would make sure that the office would be friendly, professional and there to serve the public.
